Yes, I heard this one. I use Boots, and go in with some trepidation each month, but so far, so good.
I did read, in Daily Mail, that some NHS Trusts had been selling their stocks to get a really good price they'd been offered, expecting to replenish stocks, but manufacturers were not able to keep up with demand ( I don't believe this one )So, once again we, the great British public, are sold short.
Arimidex has just come off patent, about 3 weeks ago, and now instead of it costing about £140 a month, it can be picked up for £ 20 a month....this is in USA, but I expect we will be getting the cheaper version before much longer. I worry about the quality when drugs come off patent. I hear Arimidex is being made in China, which we do not want to touch, and also in Canada, which seems the better option. The Chinese were found to be making some drugs from a compound of talc last year, and marketing it to unsuspecting people.
The last thing we want is to be taking talcum powder tablets instead of Arimidex. Rosemary. |
