Hope all went well for you today. I've had rads and it was not that bad at all, I worked through it and just popped out every day for my appointment. I did get a bit weary by the 3rd week and my skin was starting to go red but just make sure you keep putting on the cream that they give you. The travelling and waiting in the waiting room was the worst bit really and when I went in I was only in there for about 5 minutes. Will be thinking of you and I'm sure it will be fine.
I am now home from hospital after having a bi-laterel mastectomy with reconstruction. All ok and feel alot better than I thought I would. Slight discomfort now and then but still taking my pain killers, I have good hours and bad hours, bad ones usually by the end of the day. OK sleeping but frustrated that I can only lie in 1 position hopefully in time I will be able to sleep on my side. Feel like a beached whale at times as still difficult to get up from a lying down position. How were your first couple of weeks home?
Keep posting, Big hugs and thinking of you.
